Prosthesis Toe & Transmet Filler
The talent, knowledge and experience of Levy & Rappel® craftsmen can provide a fitting that minimizes patient discomfort, and allows the patient to ambulate naturally. The “L&R”™ Prothesis is soft enough to limit irritations to devascularized tissue, and strong enough to act as a filler. The prothesis is most commonly fabricated from leather or Thermocork® Lite. Please send footwear along with casts for proper design. “L&R”™ Prothesis can be prescribed for partial, transmet, or Symes amputations.

FOAMART® Impression Systems
After careful examination of the foot, mark all areas that will require modifications with an indelible pencil. This will be transferred to the FOAMART® impression to provide Levy & Rappel® with more information. In addition, you may draw a line bisecting the calcaneus so that we will have a reference line called 'Neutral'.
